CANVAS TRANSFER PRINT
A canvas transfer is a process where a paper print is coated with a special
chemical compound that will seize (lift) the inks. The inks (film) are then
carefully separated from the paper and adhered onto the substrate (canvas).
After the film is adhered to the canvas, the picture has the image true to
the original painting with the sheen and texture of a canvas original.
LITHOGRAPH ON CANVAS
A lithograph is a highly technical reproduction method utilizing color
separations, color balancing and color enhancing techniques
GICLÉE
A scan of the original painting is transferred to a high definition printer utilizing the
finest inks, acrylics or oils. A giclée reproduction is the closest replication of the
original artwork, capturing the exact color and definition due to droplets being sprayed
on to the canvas. Giclée is a new standard in the field of fine art reproduction.
